About

Publisher, scope and editorial method

AI Dataset Broker is a reference for people at AI labs, RL-environment builders and data vendors who buy enterprise data. It covers specs, schemas, datasheets, de-identification requirements, AI Act documentation, RL environments, non-English data and procurement, and takes dataset requests. Write to hello@aidataset.broker.

Who publishes it

The site is published by the company named as data controller on the personal data policy. The publisher also operates a data brokerage service. It is not listed, ranked or promoted on this site.

What the site covers

Everything here is written from the buying side. The spec sheets describe what each enterprise data type should contain. The schema and the datasheet template are working files. The checklist, the AI Act page and the procurement guide set out what to demand from a supplier. The guides on RL environments and non-English data go deeper on two areas where enterprise records add the most.

What it leaves out

The site does not advise organisations on licensing their own records, does not estimate what data is worth, and does not keep price lists or deal databases. It names companies only where a public source requires it, and a logo next to a name identifies that name; it does not suggest a relationship.

How pages are written

  • Claims about law, standards and tools link to the primary source where they are made.
  • Figures are rare, each comes from a filing or official announcement, and each shows the date it was checked.
  • Claims about our own service stay plain: datasets are assembled to spec, de-identified, documented and delivered under a licence with a datasheet.
  • No dataset sizes, client names or benchmark results are published that cannot be shown.
  • Corrections are welcome, and every page states when it last changed.

How are pages sourced?

From primary sources: legal texts, official templates, vendor documentation, research papers and company filings, each linked where it is used. Figures carry the date they were checked.

Where do I send a correction?

Can I reuse the schema and templates?

Yes. The schema, example file, datasheet template and checklists are free to use and adapt inside your organisation.
